I love tutoring because it's amazing to see the transition students go through as they overcome learning obstacles and become confident in their learning. Biology and other science courses have a vast number of intricacies, and many students think that means I have to memorize a lot of information. Instead of this, I show students how to connect concepts together so that it all makes sense, allowing students to retain and recall these details without rote memorization. I tutored biology, life sciences, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, related subjects, and test preparation primarily, but I can also help students with reading, English, and writing. In my spare time, I like to draw, sew, and paint.
